Sneaky ads

I really really hate clicking on a video and finding myself watching words on the screen which a voiceover is reading. Typically I have been duped into this "opportunity" by an interesting headline. The latest one was for " Seven things I should stockpile for SHTF ( or STFU as I prefer to call it).. The picture showed matches and I was going to comment to say "Really? Surely a handful of ferrocerium rods would be better, unless you're gonna ripoff the numbnuts who think matches are a good idea in wet weather". Anyhow back to the bitch... I think the worst part is the sincere American (sorry guys) voice, "what if I told you that 200 million americans will be dead in 6 months"  " later on I'll tell you how to avoid the coming storm!", yeah, just after I give you $25, right?"

TL;DR
Why make a video of words with a voiceover? I have a very slow connection at the moment, other people do to. Don't piss us off!

BTW, my $25 will be in the post (when monkeys fly out of my my butt.)

Get Home Bag thoughts

General out loud thinking. Just got a pair of swimming goggles. Actually for swimming but will do double duty in my GHB. so thinking about a small bag but one that'll fit the gear. A decent pair of shoes will take a large volume, so I'll try strapping them to outside of the bag. But as I'm a 'bag' person they'll need to be in their own bag! Also sourcing mask... Going to use the paper ones or the builders ones. I use pencil cases for small bags cos they're cheap, if on the long side.

A long long time ago...

Gather 'round children and I'll tell you a tale of the old days. In the early days of the 'net we didn't have bandwidth to spare on self portraits, so every man was handsome, every woman was beautiful, and we were happy. You could be who you felt you were inside. Caring, strong, tender. It wasn't perfect, sometimes a 40 year old metal head meth addict wanted to be a 16 year old girl, which could cause some problems, but we all learnt to TRUST NO-ONE! Then the sappy mess started and people started to post their entire lives on line, which some people thought was good, but they forgot the old ways and started to trust other people. So. I am a handsome, strong, honest young man. And I shall stay that way forever thanks to the internet and lying. I just felt the need to unburden myself. Have a nice day.

Restored or resurrected?

Looks like I'll be starting this again. I cleared up a few posts and here we are with (mostly) a clean sheet. Let the games begin!
